Free testing and current availability
Paid purchasing is currently disabled. You may apply for free testing during the testing phase. An application is a request for access, not a purchase, an automatic account registration or a guarantee of acceptance. Access and any testing limits are confirmed separately. The end of the testing phase does not automatically start a paid subscription or authorize a charge.
Professional users and company accounts
The service is intended for professional and business users. A person acting for a company must have the necessary authority. Company administrators manage invitations and assigned access; users must protect their individual credentials. Any mandatory rights that apply despite the professional-use scope remain unaffected.
Estimates, calibration and mandatory verification
ToolScan3D produces preliminary estimates from photographs, not exact measurement results or guaranteed accuracy.
Estimation accuracy is affected by the actual dimensions and flatness of the reference sheet, the selected sheet format, camera and lens distortion, perspective, lighting and shadows in the photograph.
Calibrating the camera using the application's calibration sheets can improve the estimate. Use the correct print scale and follow the calibration instructions. Calibration does not eliminate every source of error and does not guarantee accuracy.
Independently verify all dimensions, reference points, tool and holder identities, models, assembly drawings and exports before manufacturing, machining, collision checking or any other consequential use. Use suitable physical measuring instruments, the original manufacturer's data and the requirements of the target machine or CAD/CAM system.
Incorrect estimates or unchecked outputs can cause collisions, tool or machine damage, material waste, downtime and financial loss. The user remains responsible for checking suitability and safely using the results.
Access, modules and permitted use
Access is limited to the licence, testing period, modules and user seats actually granted to the account. A company seat may be assigned or reassigned through Control under the applicable access rules. Do not bypass access controls, share individual credentials or use the service unlawfully. Only machine outputs currently enabled by the operator are offered. Compatibility with a particular machine, controller or CAD/CAM installation must be checked by the user.
Planned paid plans
The published net reference prices are EUR 99 per year per user seat for the base licence including STL/STEP, EUR 49 per year per user seat for each GTC, TopSolid or machine-connector module, and EUR 50 for a one-time AI top-up. Taxes are additional. These prices do not enable purchasing during free testing. If paid sales are launched, the checkout must show the applicable items, billing interval, taxes and final total before the buyer confirms payment.
Payment, renewal and cancellation when sales are enabled
Where Paddle is used, the Paddle entity identified in checkout and on the invoice acts as the seller for the payment transaction under its applicable buyer terms. Annual items are automatically renewing subscriptions unless cancelled under the applicable checkout terms. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not by itself refund a period already paid. Use the cancellation or support links supplied by Paddle or contact the provider for assistance. Mandatory cancellation, refund and other statutory rights remain unaffected. No charge is authorized by applying for free testing.
AI recognition and credit
AI identification and image analysis can be wrong and do not replace technical verification. An AI top-up is separate from annual export licences and does not provide unlimited analysis. Approximately 200 image analyses for EUR 50 is an indicative estimate based on current costs, not a guaranteed quantity. Where enabled, credit is assigned to the selected account and converted into its existing USD-based balance using the reference rate stated for the transaction. Do not upload content you are not entitled to process or disclose.
Financial liability and mandatory exceptions
For business use, and only to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law, the provider excludes liability for financial loss arising from reliance on or use of estimated measurements, AI recognition, models, drawings and exports, including wasted material, damaged tools or machines, production interruption, lost profit and other direct or indirect economic loss. This exclusion does not apply to intentional breach of contract, death, personal injury, damage to health or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. It does not override mandatory consumer, data-protection or product-liability rules.
Content, data and privacy
You retain rights in content you lawfully provide. You authorize processing necessary to perform the function you request, subject to the applicable privacy notice and any data-processing agreement. Avoid unnecessary personal data and confidential information. Reading a privacy notice is not blanket consent to unrelated processing or marketing.
Service changes and suspension
The provider may maintain or update the service and may suspend access where required for security, unlawful use or breach of the applicable access rules. Testing features and availability may change. This does not remove mandatory rights or permit a paid charge without a separate purchase confirmation. Changes affecting an existing paid agreement are subject to that agreement, applicable law and the seller's terms.
Questions, complaints and versions
Send service questions, technical complaints and requests about these terms to the provider's contact address. All language versions are intended to convey the same rules. If a translation is unclear, request clarification before use or purchase. The version identifier applies across translations. Mandatory law and the applicable Paddle buyer terms are not displaced by this document.
